Projects

Libraries are not just about books.
Libraries are about information, technology, people, and politics.
Libraries are about learning.
I am especially interested in the intersection of technology,
library services and a knowledge economy.
This is an area that needs further research as libraries
 become more progressive and innovative.

As the Distance Services Librarian I use technology to reach people virtually and face to face.  Some of my projects include creating mobile apps and teaching app development.  Smiling students are what librarians hope for and assisting them through information literacy or providing books makes everything worthwhile.  Students can use library skills to create projects and win awards.
One of my new projects is using virtual and augmented reality to reduce library anxiety in information seeking behavior.
